Terence "Geezer" Butler (born 17 July, 1949 in Birmingham, England) is the long time bassist for the heavily metal band Black Sabbath.
Terence Michael Joseph Butler formed his number one band, Uncommon Breed, sustaining classmate John "Ozzy" Osbourne in the autumn of 1967. Separated for the instance, Ozzy & Bloke reunited in the blues foursome, Polka Tulk, along by owning Guitarist Tony Iommi and drummer Bill Ward. It renamed their band Globe, however when locating a band in the microscopic-nickel-and-dime English circuit by using the equivalent title, shortly adopted Black Sabbath in early 1969.

Around 1977, Black Sabbath was touring sustaining AC/DC. Butler was drunk & had depressed above his 10 seasin b& career and pulled the knife on Rhythm Guitarist Malcolm Young. Ozzy Osbourne broke him up.
In a period of the latter half of the 1970s, Black Sabbath's popularity dwindled, and inside 1979 Butler briefly left a band; his link to to the lineup coincided by owning Osbourne's departure, although a class actiin continued on by using freshly frontman Ronnie James Dio. Butler once more exited in the midst of 1984, forming the Geezer Butler Band before reuniting with Osbourne within 1987. Butler re-joined Black Sabbath for 1992's "Dehumanizer", but over again quit a class action deuce years late; fallowing an additional fling by having Osbourne, he formed G/Z/R, issuing "Plastic Planet" around 1995. A solo Black Science followed around 1997. Bloke returned to Sabbath of these additional period for the 1997 edition of Ozzfest, and has remained in the slot since.
He has been the vegetarian since he was eight years old and has been vegan for the past years.
